Outlier Profile - Joel Rubinson

back to Who Are These Guys?

Joel Rubinson

Joel, one of the founding members of The Outliers, is inarguably, the front-man for the band. He is well deserving of the title "Chief Cook and Bottle Washer", as besides contributing lead and harmony vocals, lead and rhythm guitar and blues harp to The Outlier sound, he is also the driving force behind the business side of the band. Joel is a veteran musician having been in bluegrass and country bands since the late 70's, winning the Southstreet Seaport Bluegrass Festival one year. Joel lives on Long Island and earns his living as a guru for a market research trade industry organization - the ARF.
